About Amando Garza IV, MD

Dr. Amando Garza IV is a board-certified internist and Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

In addition to caring for patients, he serves as Associate Program Director and Professor of Medicine with the University of the Incarnate Word Laredo Internal Medicine Residency Program, where he is actively involved in medical education and physician leadership.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Garza enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife and four children.

About Katherine N. Ramirez, DNP, FNP-C

Dr. Katherine Nicole Ramirez is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to serving the people of her hometown, Laredo.

She is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and takes pride in supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families in her community.

In her free time, Dr. Ramirez enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her two children, husband, family, and friends.

Veronica Montes-Cortez is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience in emergency and acute care, as well as several years specializing in women’s health.

She is committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care and takes pride in serving patients at every stage of life.

Outside of her profession, Veronica enjoys traveling, spinning classes, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.

She is dedicated to combining her bedside expertise with advanced practice knowledge to provide high-quality, personalized healthcare for patients and families.
